PA Legislature

Legislative Summary

An Act amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in miscellaneous provisions relating to operation of vehicles, providing for the offense of interference with operation or movement of a public transit vehicle.

YAC Analysis

With new punishments for violators, its possible this bill could complete some of the asks that senate Repiblicans have put foreward as a precondition for more transit funding. However, with many democrats reluctant to increase sentencing, its questionable whether this bill will be able to move through the house in time for real discussions on transit to build atop its passage into law.
